Welcome to Chocolaty Prints, my name is Karen, a twenty-something with a degree in Communications. These are a few commonly asked questions, but feel free to email me if I didn’t answer yours!
Where are you from?
Uganda, the pearl of Africa! I was born and raised in Uganda and live in Kampala*I love my city! I am also proudly part Rwandese…excellent combo!
What are some of your goals for Chocolaty Prints?
I would love to grow Chocolaty Prints as a resource for great content and inspiration for travel posts, food, beauty and so much more, from Uganda and Africa! To inspire girls all over the world, to do what they love and live life fully! To find beauty and purpose in every situation, making life their masterpiece.
I would love to connect with brands and like-minded individuals that appreciate creative content, with an authentic voice.
Who takes your pictures?
I take most of the pictures, but also work with amazing and talented photographer friends, who are passionate about their work and are happy to feature their work here.
What do you do for a living?
I am currently working on staff exchange with FK Norway
Why did you start blogging?
I started Chocolaty Prints in 2014, after my brother consistently pushed me to stop talking about it and actually do it. I wanted to document my day-to-day life and as well as have a creative outlet to express my love for travel, fashion, beauty, and life in general. Uganda is stunningly beautiful, so with my love for photography, I decided to share that with the world. I didn’t think people would find and read it! It has grown a lot since 2014, opened up so many possibilities and become a place where I’ve met and shared my passions with some amazing people.
I’m really looking forward to connecting with you!
